For computers that have no hardware problems but are performing poorly we offer
the following service:
PC Optimization - $100
What we do:
We back up, clean, and defragment the registry
We remove all unnecessary start up programs
We do a complete system scan and remove any viruses, Trojans, root kits, spyware, adware, unwanted key loggers and other malware
We install any missing critical operating system updates
We install any missing available drivers
We defragment your hard drives
We physically clean your computer inside and out removing dust and debris which can cause overheating and other mechanical malfunctions
We clean your monitor, keyboard and mouse
We recommend hardware upgrades that will increase your computers performance
We recommend software that will help keep your system running smoothly
For each additional computer at the same location we will perform the same services on them for an additional $70 per computer

For computers that are not running at all or that have hardware issues we provide the
following service:
PC Diagnostic - $50
What we do:
We pick up your computer
We physically clean your computer inside and out removing dust and debris which can cause overheating and other mechanical malfunctions
We perform a series of diagnostic tests to determine why your computer isn't working properly
We provide you with a detailed itemization of what parts and labor it will take to fix your computer and let you know the cost of repair
We get your authorization to perform the work
We repair the computer with your authorization
We provide you with any recommendations we have for upgrading your computer to increase its performance
We perform the work you authorize
We return the computer to you and set it up
Estimated time of on site service: 30 - 60 minutes (pickup and delivery)
If you have purchased a computer from us or someone else and would like us to set it up we provide the following service:
PC Setup - $90 (Purchased from Original Equipment)
Manufacturer (OEM) or other retailer
- $50 (Purchased from Animal Computers)
What we do:
If you purchased the equipment from us we will deliver it
We will hook up your monitor, speakers, keyboard, mouse, scanner, printer, microphone, camera or other peripherals
We will ensure that your operating system is functioning properly
We will install any missing critical operating system updates
We will ensure that all required drivers are installed
We will ensure you are connecting to your Internet connection
We will remove any manufacturer installed spyware, adware, or malware.
Estimated time of on site service: 60 minutes
If you want to install a new Operating System(OS) or upgrade your current OS we
can do it for you.
OS Install - $130*(price does not include OS software)
Operating Systems we will install:
All versions of Microsoft Windows®, Unix®, & Unix®-like operating systems (Ubuntu®,
Linux®, etc...)
What we do:
We will install the operating system
We will install all critical updates
We will install required hardware drivers
We will ensure you are connecting to your Internet connection properly
We can also perform dual disk or multiple disk operating system installs. This will allow you to run two or more Operating Systems from the same computer.
You select which OS you want to run when the system boots. The charge for each additional OS is $110. We recommend this for experienced computer users only!

This service does not include Network Operating Systems.
The minimum system requirements of the Operating System you wish to install
must be met by your computer for us to perform the install. For best performance
it should meet the optimal system requirements. If you are unsure what those
requirements are and if your system meets them please contact us by phone. If we
arrive at your residence or business and are unable to perform the install because
minimum system requirements are not met we will charge you a $50 service charge.

*An adult 18 years of age or older must be present at the location the entire time work is being performed. If an adult is not present at the location when the Animal Computers' employee and/or its third-party service provider arrives
services will not be rendered and a $50 cancellation fee will be assessed.
*Payment is due upon completion of service. Payment must be made by cash, check, or money order in its entirety. A $35
service fee will be charged on all returned checks and customer agrees to compensate Animal Computers for any
and all collection expenses on any debt unpaid by the customer after performance of service and provision of goods is rendered.
*Several threats exist which can result in the corruption or loss of data stored on a computer. Data loss can result from
hardware failure, user error, and system contamination. Data loss can result from hardware failure due to the fact that
computers use magnetic media to store data. Although this technology is quite reliable data can be lost through the gradual decomposition of the magnetic media itself or the failure of the mechanical components used to read and write the data from the media. The media and mechanical components have a limited life span which can be as short as a few days or as long as several years. The media and the mechanical components will certainly fail at some point resulting in the loss of data.
User error can also result in the loss of data. Computer users have the ability to erase the entire contents of a magnetic disk. If a backup of the data that has been accidentally erased does not exist, it may be impossible to recover the data.
The loss of data can also occur as a result of system contamination, usually caused by a virus. Computer viruses can be introduced into a system in a number of ways and can result in the corruption or deletion of data.
Therefore; while we will take great precaution to preserve your data, Animal Computers will not be held liable for data loss under any circumstances. If you have data that must be preserved we recommend you make multiple backups and that you store these backups in multiple locations to avoid loss from fire, flood, theft or other circumstance. The customer is
responsible for backing up all software and data on their network, computers, and other data storage devices before work is scheduled to be performed by an Animal Computers' employee or its third party service provider. Animal Computers nor its employees or third party service providers shall be held responsible at any time under any circumstances for any loss, alteration, or corruption of any software, data, operating system, or files
*For service to be rendered by Animal Computers' employees and/or its third-party service providers the following conditions must be met. They must have access to your residence or business and the equipment to be serviced. They must have your written consent and your cooperation to enter your residence or business. They must have a safe working environment, work space and electrical power. If the Animal Computers' employee/s or its third party service provider determines that these conditions have not been met services will be denied and a $50 cancellation fee will be assessed. If Animal Computers' employee/s and/or its third-party service providers determine their ability to render services is impaired by you or circumstances beyond the control of Animal Computers, Animal Computers may choose not to provide or to discontinue services.
*Animal Computers' total liability for damages related to its services is limited to the total amount you pay for the services, and you release Animal Computers from liability for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Animal Computers is not liable for loss, alteration, or corruption of any data or for your inability to use your computer equipment, network equipment, or other software or hardware product.
